Late 2010, after getting bored of doing nothing but exerting effort on getting nothing- i mean working out on my career but still "luck doesn't get in my way".
On October 2010, I decided to move to my mothers hometown, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.Testing my luck on a different environment.
Dumaguete City - "The City of Gentle People". A University Town. Why did I say so? well, as what i have read, Dumaguete is referred to as a university town because of the presence of seven universities and colleges, where students of the province converge to enroll for tertiary education. The city is also a popular educational destination for students of surrounding provinces and cities in Visayas and Mindanao. The city is best known for Silliman University, the country's first Protestant school. There are also 12 elementary schools and 9 high schools. The city's student population is estimated at 30,000.(wiki, 2010)
Dumaguete has a lot to offer specially to those who aren't of seeing the greener side of the country that often- try bonding with mother nature sometimes. As per what i have read in an article which proposed some "top tourist destination" in the city, Dumaguete has a lot to offer so pack your bags and enjoy these destinations.
A.) Dumaguete Boulevard
B.) Silliman University Campus
C.) Dumaguete Belfry Tower
D.) Apo Island Marine Sanctuary
E.) Bais Dolphin Watching and Manjuyod Sandbar
F.) Lake Balinsasayao
